A wholly owned subsidiary of the Qingyuan Supply and Marketing Cooperative through Qingyuan Supply and Marketing Investment Co., Ltd. Based in Qingyuan in northern Guangdong, it brings together local geographical-indication products: Xiniu ma bamboo shoots, Yingde black tea, Qingyuan chicken, Simiao rice and Lianzhou choy sum. It holds import–export rights.
Through the cooperative network it runs a chain from standardised growing and processing to cold storage and cross-border delivery, under the Qingyuan Gongxiao and Qingyuan Haofengtu brands.
Bamboo Shoots
Xiniu ma bamboo shoots
One of Qingyuan's five ten-billion-yuan farm industries. Large, thick, sweet and crisp shoots in three lines: ready-to-eat, in water, and fermented dried. Snacks sell in South-East Asia, shoots in water across China, dried shoots in Japan through distributors.
Yingde black tea
A geographical-indication product and one of China's three great black teas, exported to more than 70 countries and regions including the UK, Germany and Russia. Yinghong No. 9 is its flagship cultivar; high in polyphenols, it keeps its aroma with milk. Shelf life 36 months.
