An operating specialised-machinery repair business, launched in Kazakhstan in 2004, is offered for sale at USD 2.2 million. The company is based in Oskemen city (Ust-Kamenogorsk), the capital of East Kazakhstan Region. Its main business line is forklift repair (diesel, gasoline, LPG and electric machines made by Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Komatsu and many others) and compact front-end loaders (made by Bobcat, Mustang, MKSM, LiuGong, Lonking, XCMG and others). Its customers include the biggest metallurgical plants of East Kazakhstan Region. The company's certified team has more than 20 years' experience and takes on repairs of any complexity, sourcing spare parts directly from known international suppliers. The premises are owned by the company and include a workshop, a warehouse, a paint shop and a wash bay, with a dedicated electrical substation and heating system — 1,091 m² of buildings on 0.33 hectares of land. It employs 17 people and its annual revenue is about USD 200,000. All in all it is a fully operational business with a qualified team, its own premises and long-standing customers in the region, which might interest Chinese forklift producers and construction-machinery makers or dealers looking to set up after-sales and service coverage in eastern Kazakhstan.
The company
The target is a Kazakhstan limited liability partnership, ТОО «ВОСТОК-ТЕХНО» (VOSTOK-TEKHNO LLP), business identification number 040240000192, launched in 2004 and trading ever since (the e-Government registered-entity record shows first registration on 3 February 2004, re-registration on 13 November 2006, registered in Oskemen, with a single participant). Its core business is the repair of specialised machinery: forklifts across four power types (diesel, gasoline, LPG and electric) from Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Komatsu and many other makers, and compact front-end loaders from Bobcat, Mustang, MKSM and the Chinese brands LiuGong, Lonking and XCMG. It is well known in the industry after more than two decades, and its customers include the biggest metallurgical plants of East Kazakhstan Region. According to Toyota's official representatives, it is the only company in Kazakhstan with this level of expertise.
Assets and capabilities
Team: 17 people on the payroll, certified technicians with more than 20 years' experience, able to handle repairs of any complexity.
Premises: an owned production site of 1,091 m² of buildings on 0.33 hectares of land, comprising a workshop, warehouse, paint shop and wash bay, with a dedicated electrical substation and heating system.
Supply chain: spare parts are sourced directly from known international suppliers, without local intermediaries.
Market context
Kazakhstan's forklifts and works trucks are almost entirely imported, and China is now the largest source. According to Kazakhstan Customs, the country imported USD 86.7 million of fork-lift and other works trucks with lifting equipment (HS 8427) in 2025, of which USD 47.6 million, or 55%, came from China, followed by France, Japan and Germany. In January–April 2026 imports reached USD 34.6 million, with China's share rising to 61%.
China Customs monthly data show the trend still accelerating: in 2025 China exported USD 48.7 million of forklifts (HS 8427) to Kazakhstan — 4,574 self-propelled trucks (2,341 electric, 2,233 internal-combustion and other) plus some 13,000 hand pallet trucks and similar. In January–July 2026 exports reached USD 35.9 million and 3,293 self-propelled trucks, up 40% and 38% on the same period of 2025. Compact loaders are even more concentrated: in 2025 China exported USD 151 million of front-end shovel loaders (HS 842951) to Kazakhstan, 86% of the country's imports of the product. Thousands of Chinese-brand machines are added to the installed base every year, while local specialist repair and parts capability lags behind — a business with twenty years' track record that already services LiuGong, Lonking and XCMG machines fills exactly the after-sales gap for Chinese manufacturers.
